About us

Beach Resort Makkum is a unique bungalow park by the IJsselmeer in Makkum. At this holiday park, we make sure every day that guests have an unforgettable vacation and get the real vacation feeling. This is one of our main drivers at the vacation park. The great location right by the beach and IJsselmeer and the approximately 200 accommodations that we have for rent, almost all of which are located by the water, certainly contribute to this. This beautiful vacation park consists of a variety of bungalows, vacation villas, and apartment buildings.

This is what your work day looks like here:

Beach Resorts Makkum is located by the beach, this is where your work day starts. You start the day with a cup of coffee with your colleagues and catch up with everything. What will the day look like? Are there any current affairs? Then you can start working on the reports that came in. There regularly are larger jobs to tackle as well, like painting a door or window frames, placing a wardrobe, or whatever task the owner wants you to do. And there is major maintenance of the homes each year. This is how we fill our days throughout the year.

What do we require?

As a Technical Service and Maintenance employee, you can work independently and you have a great sense of responsibility, and you always think in terms of solutions. You are friendly, hospitable, professional, presentable, and you will try your best to ensure the guests can enjoy a care-free holiday.
•   Some years of relevant work experience;
•   Good command of Dutch, and German is an advantage;
•   A focused education, preferably technical, is an advantage;
•   Flexibility in work hours;
•   Disruption shifts following schedule
