Fun activities in September

Our park is situated on the IJsselmeer and features private beaches. With some luck, you can enjoy a revitalizing swim in the IJsselmeer in September. But even if the weather doesn't cooperate, there is still a lot to explore in the area. Visit Friesland's eleven cities, take a walk along the promenade, or explore the area by bike or on foot. The IJsselmeer provides numerous opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. You can go sailing, windsurfing or take a boat trip. After a day of activities, savor a tasty meal at our cozy restaurant, Strandhuys Makkum, and then unwind on your private terrace with a view of the water.

🐕 Are dogs also welcome at the resort?

Certainly! In some of our accommodations, dogs are more than welcome during your September vacation. Good to know: a maximum of two dogs per vacation home is allowed, and on the resort, dogs must be leashed.

⛵️ Can I bring my own boat?

Certainly! Some of our vacation homes have a private jetty. Thus, during your boating holiday in September, you can bring your own boat and sail from your holiday house onto the IJsselmeer.
